The main job of a good beekeeper is to keep the hives in excellent health. I firmly believe that animal health must be safeguarded above all else, even to the detriment of production. For this reason I have always respected the natural cycle of the seasons, focusing on the well-being of the bees, avoiding the use of antibiotics and managing the hives in the most natural way possible.
Today, in 2024, after 11 years of "natural" work I have decided to take the path to obtain organic certification. This is because I believe it is the best way to guarantee the customer the highest quality, guiding them towards a more responsible, informed and safe choice of the product they will taste.

Nomadism

All items with the Oro Antico brand are produced exclusively by my bees. In order to offer customers different, quality products, I move my hives to areas of large blooms, so as to guarantee honeys of a different nectariferous nature. Not everyone knows that hundreds of hectares with homogeneous flowering are needed to be able to produce single-flower honeys (acacia, chestnut, lime etc...).

Over the years I have therefore dedicated myself to carefully selecting the places to take my bees.

The choice was not made only on the basis of the geographical location, but, above all, paying attention to the characteristics of the surrounding environment: the distance from population centers, the presence of wooded areas without intensive cultivation and in general in uncontaminated areas.

Quality

The products that bees give us are perfect just as they are,

this is the reason why there is no need to carry out processes that could alter the quality; Oro Antico honey is cold packaged to enhance its taste and preserve all its organoleptic properties intact.

The search for quality has always been the cornerstone of this project, even if this often leads to lower productivity.

It may therefore happen that some products have limited availability depending on seasonality.

If your favorite honey is finished, you could take the opportunity to experiment with other flavors!
